My current status on foundations
I've been using foundations for years. My first foundation ever was Loreal's true match, and that was my foundation for like 3 years. The coverage was excellent, the color matched me great but something happened in my life where my skin's tone and texture changed. My first pregnancy was life changing both in a negative and positive sense. I wont get into it but the one negative that has been bothering me for a long time is the change in the tone, clarity, and texture of my skin. Lately, I haven't been able to find a foundation that can match my skin, like true match used to. I even bought true match again and it didn't work as well as when I was 18. Now I'm 24 and i'm struggling with finding a foundation that can cover past acne scars and hyper pigmentation. Anyways, last year I bought Diorskin Forever. I loved it because first of all my skin had no acne scars or marks and secondly, I had a FLA girl tan and the color of the foundation was just perfect. Now i'm pregnant with my second child and stay home all the time because I am living in Lawton, OK where it gets extremely hot (113 degrees) and I just cant take the heat. So, this Dior foundation isnt matching quite well anymore, last time I was at a dior counter the makeup lady told me anything lighter would make me look ashy. For reference my current dior color is 040 which is too dark for me. Not knowing what to do I bought MAC studio fix fluid and was matched with an NC42, I think its dark on me. Personally, MAC is not my favorite makeup brand. Way too oily for my skin and its just nasty how it feels on the skin. Also, its summertime and I dont want anything heavy on my face. This is why I thought DIOR would be perfect because its so light. Now the whole point of this post is to let you know my current status on foundations. Im still in search for the perfect foundation but Im becoming very impatient. If any of you have any suggestions for me please just comment below.
Thank you,
Emma
